2k Sports has just sent over a massive batch of screenshots for MLB Power Pros 2008. There are well over 50 screenshots for you to check out that show everything from the fields to the players.

The game is currently set to release July on the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 2 and Nintendo DS.

Requiem: Bloodymare, which Gravity Interactive dubs "the goriest game to hit the MMO world", has entered open beta. Gamers will be able to start playing on May 15th.  According to Gravity Interactive, Requiem features "ragdoll physics, buckets of blood and the Nightmare, DNA and Beast Possession systems." Jay Choi, vice president of Gravity Interactive, had this to say about the open beta:

“We’re extremely excited about going into open beta. Requiem was developed from the get-go to take adult gaming to a whole new level and we achieved that with gut-wrenching battles and MMO bloodshed you have never seen before...The open beta will give everyone the opportunity to seek adventure in Ethegia – and cut monsters in half, of course.”

THQ has announced that Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise will be released on the Nintendo DS. The game is based on the Xbox 360 version of Viva Pinata and will feature "an array of content exclusive to Nintedo DS and intuitive control scheme designed to take full advantage of the DS touch screen and stylus, making it a breeze to navigate through the garden."
